Cub Scout Eligibility:

Cub Scouts are for boys who are in first grade through fifth. After fifth graders participate in the winter Blue and Gold Banquet, they can move into Boy Scouts. (Boy Scouts are for ages 11 - 18.) Pack 257 requires all boys to wear uniform shirts and neckerchiefs to most meetings and events. Uniform hats, belts, pants/shorts, etc are not required. Each scout will also need a book that corresponds to their appropriate rank below:

Tigers
First grade: Tigers are the youngest Cub Scouts. Because they require more attention and support, Tigers are required by scouting rules to bring an adult (over 18) to every scout function. This can be Mom, Dad, Grampa or Grandma, a Godparent, a babysitter etc.

Come join the fun!

We typically have 2 meeting per month. One is a Den Meeting (6-10 boys) and the other is the Pack Meeting (40-60 boys). The meetings are on Monday nights and are usually held at the Eureka United Methodist Church facilities. In addition, we also march in parades, go on family campouts, hold a Pinewood Derby, go fishing and much more!

We need new scouts and parent/grandparent helpers!
